One of the highlights of the inaugural Super Trunk Show Singapore will be an educational offering that is rarely made accessible at this level. Saphir will be hosting a Shoe Shine Masterclass Singapore Edition, led by professional shoe shiner Ash Samsudin, offering attendees the opportunity to learn proper shoe care and shining techniques directly from one of the best in the field.
For those unaware, Ash Samsudin was the winner of the 2022 World Championships in Shoe Shining.
What makes this particularly special is that these sessions are normally paid masterclasses, yet for this event, they will be offered free of charge.
What the Masterclass Includes
The Saphir Shoe Shine Masterclass Singapore will be broken into three separate sessions, each lasting 45 minutes.
- 3 classes total: 13:15–14:00, 14:15–15:00, and 16:15–17:00
- 45 minutes per class
- 10 participants per session
- Instruction led by Ash Samsudin
- Hosted by Saphir/Straits Establishment (official distributors of Saphir in SE Asia)
- January 31st, 2026 – Warehouse on River Promenade, 5 Jiak Kim Street, Singapore.
Because the sessions are complimentary, participants will not receive Saphir products to take home. However, exclusive event-only offers on Saphir products will be available for those who wish to purchase afterward.
What to Bring
Each participant must bring:
- One pair of shoes
- Either black or medium brown leather
This ensures that the techniques demonstrated are relevant and applicable to all attendees during the session.
